Product Review: iPhone 6
Don’t believe the bad rumors
October 17, 2014
The newest Apple product has found its way back into our pockets.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus were released Sept. 19 and have become a significant worldwide controversy.
According to Tech Times, Apple broke a new record having sold ten million phones during their three-day weekend launch.
So what is all the buzz about? How did Apple manage to get the same old iPhone out and still make millions off of its sixth generation?
What sets this phone apart from all other iPhones is its size. It is the biggest phone in its class with a 4.7 inch display and the plus a 5.5 inch display. It is also much thinner than older iPhones which is a good thing, or at least it is marketed as such.
There have been a lot of rumors about the iPhone 6 Plus being bendable. The thinness of the phone makes putting it in your pocket much easier, but apparently this may cause the phone to slightly bend in ways it shouldn’t.
Aside from its appearance, this phone is not like any other. The camera on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus has new or improved features like slo-mo and time-lapse. Also, the clarity of the screen is much better than before along with faster LTE speeds.
My phone was not bendable, though I must admit I did not try that hard to test it. The display is very clear and it is the easiest to maneuver, fastest iPhone yet.
Taking all factors into consideration, the iPhone 6 is worth buying. Most carriers have a two year contract which allows you to upgrade to a newer phone without having to pay retail price.
This makes it much easier to enjoy the new features of Apple’s latest creation.
I give the iPhone 6 4/5 stars.
