At its meeting on Wednesday Oct. 16 the DASB Senate approved holding mid-term elections on Nov. 13 to fill six open seats on the DASB senate and appoint new members to the marketing committee.
Stacie Rowe, the DASB Senate president, said the senate is mostly interested in candidates to fill open spots for their marketing and administration committees, but it is also looking for anyone with an interest in leadership.
DASB senator Robert Yasin questioned the date of Nov. 13, saying that two or three weeks simply isn’t enough lead-time. The senate disagreed and voted unanimously to approve the date.
Interested students should stop by the DASB offices on the lower floor of the student center and apply before Nov. 7 at 4 p.m.
