De Anza College student Jackson Miller is missing, according to a press release from the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s office.
Police say Miller was last seen May 19 at Aki’s Clean Laundry on 204 21st Ave. in San Francisco, which intersects California Street. Witnesses recognized Jackson from the missing person fliers police posted statewide. Miller was reported missing May 15, the same day he was seen leaving his car in the Golden Gate Bridge parking lot around 4:10 p.m. Miller left his identification, money and credit cards with his silver 2004 Honda Pilot. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, shorts and loafer shoes with no socks.
Miller’s family and friends are currently distributing fliers and searching for him in San Francisco.
“We are hopeful he is alive and walking the streets of San Francisco,” said Gina Funaro, Miller’s mother.
“We know him as a generous, happy person,” said friend Johnny Maiveshki, who plans on looking for Miller in the Tenderloin neighborhood.
