Tip #1 : Get the blood flowing in your spine As soon as you wake up, even before you jump out of bed to attend to do your unfinished assignment, just kidding! Seriously, on waking, before getting off the bed, lie down flat on your stomach. Stretch your hands above your head and hold your palm. Your legs should be fully extended, with the foot resting on your toes. Now, dig your toes in, to hold position of your legs, and stretch your upper body with the hands outstretched to the extent you can, as though you are trying to reach something beyond. You can feel the tingling sensation in your back. Hold this posture for a count of 10 or less, depending on your comfort. Relax and repeat, two more times.
Note : Some amount of warm up is very crucial before you start any form of exercise. It could be walking, marching in place or stepping side to side. The warm up gets your body ready to begin exercising at higher intensity. This is very important in Fall and Winter.
