“Casino Royale”-Daniel Craig gets his first crack at playing James Bond in a remake of the film that kicked off the franchise in 1967. Director Martin Campbell worked with a different Bond (Pierce Brosnan) in 1995’s “GoldenEye.”
“Fast Food Nation”-Richard Linklater (“Dazed and Confused”) directs an eclectic cast in the film version of Eric Schlosser’s bestselling book about the fast food industry. Starring Greg Kinnear, Patricia Arquette and Avril Lavigne, amongst others.
“Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus”-Nicole Kidman and Robert Downey Jr. star in this fictionalization of the life the outsider photographer. From Steven Shainberg, the director of 2002’s “Secretary.”
“Happy Feet”-The voices of Robin Williams, Elijah Wood, Nicole Kidman and the late Steve Irwin star in this Warner Brothers animated feature about a tap dancing penguin.
“Let’s Go to Prison”-From the writing team responsible for TV’s “The State” and “Reno 911” comes this incarceration comedy starring Will Arnett of “Arrested Development.”
“Little Children”-Todd Field’s (“In The Bedroom”) acclaimed film about love, life and pedophilia in the suburbs finally sees its proper South Bay release. It stars Kate Winslet, Jennifer Connelly and Patrick Wilson and is based on the novel by Tom Perrotta.
