DA Voices: Who would you vote for in the presidential elections?

Take one lap around DeAnza college, the staggering diversity on campus is noticed right away.

With diverse people, come diverse opinions.  We wanted to find out who our peers want for the future President of the Unites States and why.

Lets see what they had to say.

Elena Ramirez, 20, nursing: "Not Donald Trump! I would vote for Bernie Sanders. His Twitter account is awesome and he is pro women’s rights.”

Kay Huy, 23, finance: “Donald Trump. I feel that a person’s net worth reflects the individual’s ability to control resources. That, and he can’t be bought out by big business.”

Levi Alvis,16, law enforcement: “Jeb Bush. I don’t know if he’s running for office, but because I grew up in a very Republican family, that’s who I would pick.”

Andy Vo, 22, English:  “Hilary Clinton. I’m pretty liberal. I like what Bernie Sanders has to say, and Carly Fiorina looks good, but Hilary Clinton has more international experience. So she’s who I think I’d vote for.”

Aleksey Likhtenberg, 18, engineering: “Bernie Sanders.                                    You know, I’ve heard a lot of good things about him. He’s super down- to-earth and seems to be more on track with middle class reality.”

Stevie Walsh, 24, De Anza staff:  “Bernie Sanders or Hilary Clinton. I would need to choose between them. I am an independent, but I lean more towards being a Democrat.”
