In the time of lockdown and physical restraint, it’s even more important to keep your body active and healthy at home.

I recommend three channels that are doable and heavy equipment-free – at most a mat is required.

Yoga With Adriene: 5 out of 5 stars

With 7 million subscribers, “Yoga With Adriene” is one of the most acclaimed fitness YouTube channels, and for good reason.

Every video is instructed by Adriene herself without background music and often accompanied with her sleeping dog.

If you need a nice and thorough stretch instead of aerobics, you have found the right channel.

Usually, each video lasts for 10 to 30 minutes, and there is no fancy adornment or distracting subjects.

What is more, classes are mostly beginner-friendly. You can feel confident to click any class you are interested in.

You also do not need to worry about bothering your neighbors as it is noiseless.

There is a playlist named “HOME – A 30 Day Yoga Journey” to help you improve step by step.

All you need is a yoga mat and a relaxed body and Adriene will guide you through the way.

POPSUGAR Fitness: 4 out of 5 stars

POPSUGAR is the channel you choose when your ready to sweat and lose weight.

With loud and enthusiastic music, three or more instructors will cheer you on. Your body will lose control and move with the rhythm.

During the class, the lead fitness trainer often reacts with other members, cheering, shouting, with encouragement which helps you develop a sense of teamwork.

If you need a nice aerobic exercise, there is no better choice.

But remember to ensure your neighbor is not in the middle of a nap or working because it will make a lot of noise. Also, be prepared with enough water since you will be exhausted after class.

Blogilates: 4 out of 5 stars

Since Cassey Ho, the host of the channel, started the channel 10 years ago, it has accumulated over 5 million subscribers and 726 million views.

There are lots of different content on her channel, including dance, Pilates, cardio, and yoga.

Cassey treats her viewers as beginners, so it is not challenging to follow.

It is convenient to click the random video and follow her instructions. For example, there are tons of videos focusing on abs, legs, glutes, and stomach muscles.

However, every now and again her videos appear disorganized and lacking professionalism.

That being said, her passion and enthusiasm is visible in all of her videos

She showcases her sense of optimism to her viewers, which is important when working for a stronger body.
