De Anza College’s accreditation was fully reaffirmed for the next seven years, according to an email from President Brian Murphy to faculty. De Anza received a shortened 18 month accreditation on January because the accreditation team listed three compliance requirements and suggested two recommendations, according to the De Anza website. The issues the accreditation specifically had at the time “were aligning program and course Student Learning Outcomes and fixing inconsistencies between official course outlines and professor’s syllabi,” according to a La Voz article.
