    TOMS: fit for comfort

    All around campus TOMS shoes have been a popular trend.
    They are very easy to put on and off because of an elastic V and toe stitch. TOMS are extremely versatile and can be worn with dresses, shorts, skirts, and jeans.  
    Nursing major, Sun Lim, 18, said, “I love wearing them because they are so trendy and go with any outfit.”
    According to toms.com, Founder Blake Mycoskie, was traveling in Argentina in 2006 when he got inspired to help children who had no shoes. He then created TOMS shoes with a promise that with each pair purchased a new pair is given to a child in need. TOMS shoes has donated more than 2,000,000 pairs of shoes worldwide.
    Not only has TOMS shoes helped children around the world, prevented diseases, injuries and infections, but also created a convenient and
    stylish product college students enjoy.
    “They are very convenient and comfortable,” said undeclared major, Kelvin Yeung, 20.
    TOMS has a latex arch that gives added support making it feel like you are wearing slippers. The one piece sole is flexible and durable for fall and winter.
    Trendy, comfortable, convenient, easy to slip on, and durable are words described by college students on campus. The average pair according to toms.com is $54 and if you think about it, it is for a great cause and you’re looking fashionable while helping out.
