Lavender Graduation celebrates queer success, transfers, achievements

The Pride Center hosted its annual Lavender Graduation on June 17 in the Sunken Garden, recognizing LGBTQ+ students and their academic achievements.

The ceremony brought together students, faculty, alumni, family members and friends to honor this year’s graduates.

As a part of the celebration, students walked down the aisle to songs they personally selected, and gave heartfelt speeches.
