    De Anza baseball hits homerun

    Dons pull out victory in the last inning

    The De Anza baseball team emerged victorious against Mission College on April 27 with a final score of 5-2.

    De Anza’s Chris Drake pitched for the first inning where, he emptied the bases with a strike out. Daniel Hall got the first home run of the game with the help of Andrew Geenen at bat. With Taylor Martin at bat, both Armando Munoz and Andrew Geenen struck home runs.

    During the second inning Greg Gonzalez hit a home run, bringing the score to 4-0.

    During the fourth inning Drake struck out Mission.

    Mission scored two home runs during the seventh inning.

    The eighth saw Max Rao get a home run.

    In the ninth inning Steve Eliopoulos pitched strike outs back to back resulting in a 5-2 win for De Anza.
