    Movie Review–The Incredibles

    Disney and Pixar are at it again, this time combining strengthand power with family ties in their new blockbuster hit “TheIncredibles,” due out in theaters Nov. 5.
    “The Incredibles” is a motion picture that takes you onan incredible journey through the eyes of a family full ofsuperheroes. It incorporates MacGuyver-style tactics while amusingus with new Disney humor.
    The movie is about superheroes Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) andElastigirl (Holly Hunter) who become famous for their incrediblefeats.
    After a series of unfortunate events caused by Mr. Incredible, allsuperheroes are forced to retire and hang up their uniforms andcapes.
    The family must go into hiding and adopt everyday lifestyles. Mr.Incredible is forced by the government to become an insuranceagent.
    But Mr. Incredible, accompanied by Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson),doesn’t want to call it quits. He’s looking foradventure and he ends up getting himself into trouble.
    Then it’s time for the rest of the Incredibles to use theirspecial powers to rescue dad, while achieving bigger and betterthings.
    The movie itself is about a family that through one another, taketheir powers to the extreme.
    “At its heart, I saw ‘The Incredibles’ as a storyabout a family learning to balance their individual lives withtheir love for one another,” says director Brad Bird.”It’s also a comedy about superheroes discovering theirmore ordinary human side.”
    “As I wrote, I wanted to create a world filled with popculture references — with spy movie gadgets and comic booksuper powers and outrageous evil villains using ingenious devices— but at the same time, to create a story within that worldthat is very much about family.”
