Runners of all athletic levels and running paces line up at the Campbell Sports Basement to run a 5k on National Run Day at Los Gatos Creek Trail on June 3.

This sportswear chain in Campbell hosts a weekly run club on Thursdays.

Vendors selling athletic nutrition such as Neversecond tabled at the event to offer free samples of their running gels for the runners.

After the run concluded Sports Basement handed out free refreshments including hot dogs, chips and water to all its participants.

Attendees also had the option to participate in a raffle to receive prizes such as hats, bandanas, gift cards, nutrition gels and free entry to marathons.
