San Jose hosted its third Cinco de Mayo Cultural Parade and festival on May 3.
The festival showcased lowriders, folklorico dancers, live music and traditional Mexican practices.
The parade along King Street had visitors lined along the street, leading down to Emma Prusch Farm Park.

ROBERT CORDOVA: The unity of the people. I’m from Stockton, California, and I came to San Jose to celebrate this moment with everybody. But this is my first time out here for this event, and I’m speechless. It’s beautiful out here. Everyone’s focused on just having a great time with the families and everyone’s here spreading the love and the joy of the of our heritage.

CONNIE ANCIRA: Time for US Hispanic people to come out and celebrate each other in peace and love and peace. Yep. Yep. It’s a day of all of us getting together and uniting.
