“DA Voices” is a recurring feature used to spotlight De Anza College’s diverse community voices. We ask the same question to different people and arrange their quotes so that readers can see varying points of view.

“During free time, I’m still working,” Nguyen said.

“I do yoga and walk around the city,” Nway said.

Rishad Karlo G. Lagman, 18, biology major, said he wants to do more part time work and internships and become more involved with the De Anza community.
“If possible, I would like to try to get involved with the student community in De Anza,” Lagman said. “I’d just like to interact more with the (clubs).”

Tsubasa Yasukawa, 22, engineering major, would also be taking it easy.
“I hang out with friends and play games, (such as ‘Counter Strike: Global Offensive,’)” Yasukawa said.
Iven Chen, 20, undecided major, said he’d play basketball, lift weights and do some gaming.
“I play ‘Ready or Not,’” Chen said. “’Valorant’ and ‘Counter Strike’ are too similar.”
