    Chiu resigns early

    Cites personal reasons for leaving

Roxanne Chiu, Inter Club Council chair of finance, turned in her letter of resignation three weeks before the end of her term.

Chiu cited personal reasons for leaving.

Edward A. Voss, ICC chair, said that he does not plan to replace Chiu. “It will be hard,” he said, but he and George Smith, ICC chair of programs, will share her responsibilities.

Chiu was elected amidst controversy last year. She was rejected twice from the student senate, once under allegations of lying about being in a meeting.

Voss said she has until Wednesday to change her mind, according to ICC rules.
