Hundreds of San Francisco residents gathered in Embarcadero Plaza to protest against Israel and the United States’ bombing of Iran while a few dozen San Francisco residents led a counter-protest supporting the bombing on Friday, March 6.
The conflicting sides of the protest shared some intense moments, including a minor altercation between a few individuals, but no one was hurt and no authority was needed to intervene.
Cal Poly San Luis Obispo’s Mustang Band was also in attendance, as part of the city’s Lunar New Year parade nearby, and performed several songs amid the protest in the plaza.
