“DA Voices” is a recurring feature used to spotlight De Anza College’s diverse community voices. We ask the same question to different people and arrange their quotes so that readers can see varying points of view. This time, La Voz reporter Jonathan Nguyen-Au asked, “What classes are you most excited about this quarter?”

“I think the course I’m looking forward to the most is Accounting,” Rana Arjumand, 18, business administration major said. “I’m not really a math person, but I think accounting would be really interesting, considering that there’s a lot of different aspects to it.”

“The most exciting one is the Principles and Procedures of the Justice System,” Fang Xiang Wei, 37, paralegal major, said. “The teacher is nice, very considerate and listens to students’ opinions.”

Evenlyn Azar, 19, early childhood development major, said her most anticipated class is Student Teaching Practicum.
“I’m really excited because it’s a hands-on teaching course, and it’s related to my major,” Azar said. “I’m going to be working in a classroom and getting a lot of experience.”
