Shoppers gathered at De Anza College’s final flea market of 2025 on Dec. 6, browsing more than 200 vendors and stocking up on Christmas ornaments, wreaths and other holiday items.

Vendor Lin Qian, who sells Christmas products, said there were more customers than she had expected.
“Christmas ornaments and Christmas cutlery sets are the most popular items so far,” Qian said. “I feel like everyone is excited for Christmas.”
Many attendees brought large carts and filled them with the items they purchased.
Phuong Nguyen, a customer from Santa Clara, has been visiting the flea market every month since June.
“I always enjoy coming here because I can find good things for a good price every time,” Nguyen said.
Nguyen had a lot of items in her cart, including several articles of clothing, household items and a toy that her son wanted.

Before fully diving into the holiday festivities, vendor Carlos Hernandez said he was delighted to see the excitement among customers at the final flea market.
“Since the weather is cold, I thought not many people would come out,” Hernandez said. “But I’m glad to see so many here today.”
Hernandez said he hopes everyone who visited the flea market will have a warm and happy end of the year.
Although the school is heading into winter break, the flea market will continue as usual. The next flea market will be held on Saturday, January 3, at the same location and time.
“Maybe next month, I’ll bring my son with me,” Nguyen said.
