Food choices on Stevens Creek Boulevard

You just got out of class, but you can’t leave school yet. Your other class is in an hour or so, but your stomach keeps tightening and growling. You are mentally kicking yourself for not eating all day.

The cafeteria and campus store are reliable and accessible, but after a while, you want more variety than what is available each day.

Across the street, The Oaks Shopping Center features restaurants ranging from Quickly to Coffee Society. Most shops are open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Veronica Ramos, 20, biology major, says she goes to Whole Foods, Una Mas or Panda Express for a quick bite.

“I honestly get so tired of the cafeteria food because I’ve been here so long,” said Ramos.

Nahed Darwish, 19, biology major, eats at Ike’s Lair because “it’s Halal food.” She said she and many other Muslim students eat Halal food and the location is convenient for her.

There’s also J & J Hawaiian Barbeque hidden behind Ike’s Lair and Panda Express.

If fast food isn’t the answer, Jason Cozzette, 25, undecided major, simply goes to Whole Foods. “Whole Foods has a lot of food, but it’s expensive.”

Stevens Creek Boulevard strip provides students with the best places for food and drinks within walking distance.
