The DASB senate confirmed Robert Yasin, 21, political science major, as acting vice president at its meeting on April 16. DASB President Koosha Seyvani nominated Yasin and the senate confirmed him with no debate or opposition.

Yasin will serve as vice president until the new senate is sworn in at the end of spring quarter.

The senate discussed the upcoming DASB election, reminded candidates the application filing deadline is April 28 at 4 p.m. and  gave candidates a chance to introduce themselves.
