Two senators, Jackie Lee, and Adwin Ho were confirmed as Vice Chairs for the Student Rights and Campus Relations Committee and the Diversity and Events committee at the De De Anza Associate Student Body meeting held on Nov. 7. Seven senate members were also approved to new committees. An information workshop to learn parliamentary procedure was reviewed at the meeting as well. Other topics and ideas they discussed were meeting etiquette, efficiency and facilitation. The event was a closed meeting and no business items were discussed. DASB President Robin Claussen is determined to mold the senate into an effective and approachable environment for the betterment of all students. “I think I’ve gotten better as a president and I think senate as a whole has gotten betteras well.”
