De Anza College is going through a major construction that’s affecting the food available for the De Anza Student Body. But the vegetarians are suffering the most. Before the construction, the types of food available dominantly contained meat. Only a small portion of the menu catered for the vegetarians. However, the entire out door vendors temporarily replacing the cafeteria has no vegetarian options. It’s bad enough that students and staff have to leave because of the lack of variety but vegetarians do not have a choice at all. The only options are to either bring lunch from home or leave campus for another place in car cluttered roads around De Anza. However, vegetarians can give into the “dark side” and eat meat like the rest of us, but that is not very good reason to do so.
