Jobbers? Don’t call good workers jobbers. Those jobbers are the people that help put other wrestlers over by losing. If it weren’t for the good work of jobbers, how would guys like The Rock and Stone Cold get over? Jobbers are actually very good wrestlers who know how to make a match interesting and fun. They help push younger wrestlers to gain fame. Many jobbers are better wrestlers than the likes of The Undertaker and Paul Wight–The Big Show. They helped the careers of people like The Rock and Bill Goldberg.

Barry Horrowitz, Duane Gill– Gillberg and Steven Regal–William Regal are some of the best wrestlers/workers in the wrestling industry. They have an uncanny ability to push new talent to the upper echelon of the wrestling world. They are buried beneath interesting and entertaining storylines of TnA laden valets and soap opera style gimmicks.

Horrowitz is one who doesn’t mind. He knows his ability–probably one of the best wrestlers/workers of recent history, but he loves what he does. He is a wrestler, and does his job; sometimes it requires doing the job.

Guys like Horrowitz have been in the business for several years, because of their cooperation and hardwork. You can watch one of his matches and it is entertaining even without raunchy or ridiculous angles and storylines. He may not jump off the top of a cage, or go through tables, but he knows how to work a crowd and how to carry a good match, with anyone.

Horrowitz can throw just about any move out at you, anything from an armbar to a reverse German suplex.

Many people have said that Horrowitz has had great matches with highly unqualified wrestlers, a testament to his in-ring ability to perform with anybody. Horrowitz and other jobbers are not guys who can’t wrestle. They are the ones who carry the business. In every match, well, almost every match, there is a winner and a loser. Horrowitz may lose just about every match, but he gives all he can.

Horrowitz and other jobbers are the unsung heroes in the world of sports entertainment, pro wrestling.
