    Sexist column angers readers

    La Voz,

In response to Shazib Hassans’s article, “La Voz not pimps in print,” I was very disappointed to read about what he had to say about complaints La Voz had received about their publishing of a classified ad in the April 17-24 issues. In the beginning of the article, as you read, it might be assumed that he is against the ad, but that is not the case. His usage of the word “bitches” in his article is just uncalled for.

The part of the article that seemed most disappointing was towards the end.

At the end he state that the people who, “were offended by the ad to get a life.” He also states that, “it just makes me wonder how people can find the time to write about pointless crap.” I was very offended about this article, due to his tone of voice in the article as well as his statements regarding the complaints La Voz had received from the students towards the ad.
