The Asian Pacific American Students for Leadership club is starting up again this quarter, and looking for students interested in promoting awareness of Asian Pacific American issues and learning leadership skills.
Presently, the club is open to suggestions as they collaborate on ideas on the club should focus on this quarter, as well as in the future.
APASL meets every Tuesday from 12:30 p.m.-1:20 p.m. in room L-96.
Their goal is to represent and actively participate within the community by demonstrating leadership through various projects and community service.
Currently APASL is setting up a panel/ rally for the Wen Ho Lee case.
On June 6, the panel will begin at 10:30 a.m. in Conference Room A, and follow with a rally in the main quad from 11:30 a.m. – 12:20 p.m.
This will be the club’s event to celebrate the Asian Pacific American Heritage Month of May.
APASL welcomes all those willing to participate.
