Dear Editor,
Every morning between 9:15 and 9:30 a Brinks truck is parked by the tables in front of the Campus Center with the engine running. This is a great nuisance. It is not only creating a great amount of noise pollution but the exhaust emits a great amount of disgusting smell.
It is a fallacy that it is better for a diesel engine to keep running. Even if that was true, the health and welfare of students, faculty and workers of de Anza should take precedent.
