“DA Voices” is a recurring feature used to spotlight De Anza College’s diverse community voices. We ask the same question to different people and arrange their quotes so that readers can see varying points of view. This week, La Voz reporter Cindy Rodriguez asked, “What are your Valentine’s Day plans?”

Jordan Nguyen, 18, business administration major, said his Valentine’s Day plans will consist of checking in on his friends and expressing his love and care for them.
“Even if I don’t have to give something physically, I want to tell them they are great and spend time with them,” Nguyen said.

Charles Chang, 19, film major, said his Valentine’s Day plans will consist of playing online video games.
“I plan to play Marvel Rivals and grind rank,” Chang said.

Kevin Truong, 19, business major, looks forward to dinner at a Brazilian steakhouse on Feb. 14.
“I am going to be chowing down at Fogo de Chão,” Truong said enthusiastically. “I will be there with a few friends.”

Pranitha Govindarajulu, 18, liberal arts major, plans on sharing gifts and expressing her love.
“I plan on giving my friends chocolate and telling my family that I love them,” Govindarajulu said.

Emily Nguyen, 20, marketing major, said she looks forward to having dinner at the restaurant 10 Butchers in Sunnyvale.
“I’m going to treat myself to Korean barbecue,” Nguyen said.

Natalie Chang, 20, biology major, plans to have dinner at Valley Fair for the upcoming holiday.
“I’m going to Baekjeong, a Korean barbecue place, with my boyfriend,” Chang said.
