Lots of students are wondering know is Wikipedia a good resource for academic research.
From my point of view, Wikipedia is good resource to get basic concepts and ideas about the phrases, but it is not good for academic research.
Wikipedia summarize the information of phrases to the public, and every one could edit the information int order to provide more accurate resources for researchers.
Last time, I was writing a research paper about the artist Da Vinci. I searched Da Vinci on Wikipedia in order to got some general idea about him, such as his experience, life, painting, and his inventions. After I read the resource from Wikipedia, I knew much more about Da Vinci, and It’s helped me to do deeper research on my research paper.
