De Anza flea market variety attracts thousands

On the first Saturday of each month, hundreds of vendors gather to sell to thousands of people looking for a good deal at the De Anza College parking lot between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

For over 30 years, the De Anza flea market has been bringing people from all around the Bay Area to come and look for anything from Legos to furniture.

Flea Market Coordinator Scott March and said one of the hardest things to get the flea market running smoothly is making sure all the services, such as sanitation and security, are in place, but the consistent vendors help.

According to the flea market’s website, the flea market can draw anywhere from 15,000 to 20,000 shoppers.  If you are looking for a spot to sell items, it may be difficult.  All the vendor spaces are booked through December.
